The Truth of the body

“Who realises the truth of the body can then come to understand the truth of the universe”. Ratnasara Tantra.
.
So much is to be said and contemplated about with those exquisite words.
.
The embodiment process is the awakening process (and not the other way around)...
.
Getting to You, in a body that you are profoundly (but also that you are not...i know, paradoxes are hard to comprehend for our minds!) is one of the most profound way to know oneself.
.
A path towards but also the destination.
.
Everything, the map of everything sits right there, in your body (and all its layers).
.
Yet, many of us are disconnected from such original and forever evolving map.
.
It is a terrain, an inner terrain, the landscape of a multitude of you like in Nature, that whispers what is to be known...Yet, most of us rarely listen to such whispers. At times we do and when we do we can have such profound moments of clarity...but sometimes we cannot fully hear, carried away with so many things coming from the outer terrain.
.
So, through the alchemy of words, we read, sutras, poems and so much more and we revisit, remember over and over what we once knew, know and will know...as we are bound to forget, over and over as well....until we don’t.
.
Forgetting is part of the journey of being Human...so we take this loss of memory as part of our practice of remembrance, which is, for me, what Yoga is about.
.
I will put a sticker “post it” with those lines on my mat, in case i forget, once more...because like you, I will forget again and again what I know already.
.
To remembering, I bow.
