rEVOLution. Love 🤍.
In these highly polarised times, how do we keep on nourishing a sense of Love? Including for the people we highly disagree with? Or for situations which bring so much discomfort?
.
Certainly this is not easy as this can stir many valid emotions for us all. But, you know, that’s probably an, if not the most, interesting practice to nurture.
.
Loving what you dislike can be such a profound practice of Yoga or any (spiritual/self evolution) practice, in its highest form.
.
This is certainly at the core of my contemplations these days.
.
We don’t have to like or agree, but we can still find love or some kind of ease (however we want to call it) for whatever we think we dislike.
.
« I do not have to love something, a situation or somebody I dislike, but I can still find Love for it or for him/her/them ».
.
Again as this is too important, read the below twice 🌟:
.
« I do not have to like it, but can I try to find love for it? ».
.
Know and feel the distinction.
.
Taste the practice.
.
If we could all practice such Art, we could well create a sustained loving & caring world? I ask myself (and you) the question.
.
These days, « Loving what IS » has become such a big practice for us all, and I find myself realising that I do not have to like this « what is » but I can try to find love for it.
.
In a Yoga asana practice (since I am also a yogini) this is about finding love for the « shapes » I hate (like burpees, handstands for example 😍) or styles of yoga which are not among my favorites. I do not have to like any of this listed above but I can surely try to find some love in me for this.
.
Why would I do that? Because you know what? When we are open to a feeling of love, we immediately soften & create inner/outer ease.
.
That has been my own revolution & realisation, boom, right here. 💥
.
Will you join me in this rEVOLution practice? 🤍🤎🖤
.
Lovingly, 🦋🤍.
.
PS: in the practice of loving the « what is, including what I hate/dislike », all parts of you are invited on this journey, as the practice is also about finding love for what you (think) you dislike about own Self....And that’s also a big one, I know...I know...💫
